Stay on the show, risk your liscence. NHRA tired of "drag racing" accidents like Nick Hogan, Paul Walker, Justin Beiber trying to draw a line.

Yesterday, two bystanders were killed in california. Probably the first time it was called illegal street racing and not drag racing.

Is what happens when Realit-fictional racing is promoted in national spotlight.  Show is completely counter to the way the NHRA sanctioning body started the structure to build the sport into what it is today.

I don't even think the show is not itself on a sanctioned raceway.  The track they you can see Ems crews in some of the shots.  Really how long would the area council or constablitory departments would allow their turf to be soiled by a group of immature street racers running rough shot over the public highways.
