It really sucks. It seems discovery is more worried about pissing off Richard than giving the new show their own deal.
Richard just dropped 125k on a warehouse just to get that truck they mangled into a low rider for the cattlemans ball deal. Looked like a dropped refrigerator when they were done.
I dont know, you want to make money with an original 210 chevy I dont think you hack the frame apart and make it a gasser. There are so many other candidates of cars to make gassers, mainly one with a fubared front frame.
I was completely screwed out of Scots show at scots garage to get this waste of time.

dont think so, richard is throwing so much money around, seems he has quite the relationship.
First off, Richard paid 6 months rent ahead of time, but "had" to get his stuff out and the Misfits are paying richard his rent. I really dont know if Discovery thinks we are that stupid or if its all richard.

Seems like Richard is getting around 100k per episode, seems thats the amount he is pissing away every week.
I guess you take all the shows possible on your network that may cause viewers to turn off the show an then it gets to be popular enough. Sad I miss the quality of the shows that 5-10 years ago, now all that the channel seems to spend time an effort keeping going are the shows that turn at least this user off.

Richard is named as the executive producer on the 2 hour show now, so I am taking that as him having complete control of what is being aired, so I can no longer blame Discovery Channel when Richard is calling the shots.
we were talking on an NHRA board about how bad the fake PA announcer was when the GMG dragster was making a pass. Definitely was not the regular guy, said too much about GMG, but when Richard asked for a three six instead of a three sixty, it showed all the real nhra fans that he is just someone throwing money around.

Wow Sound like the money and ego is growing beyond control. I would be concerned that it gets to a point of self-destruction. We all seen that with the previous Automotive series. The Teutuls burned that one to the ground with Senior's egomania an fight trying to sabotage Junior's effort to make it out on his own.

Am I wrong that the episode IMHO is a staged Pit stall, combination of taped footage of event. Just didn't seem like The footage in the pits of face time in front of the camera was "REAL" seemed very staged.
For a show that was to portray REAL rodders building hot rods. The Misift-Fired Up portion of the show is the only entertaining portion of the show.
