Makes you wonder what happened to the idea of a box that would bring miracle,excitement, entertainment and learning has devolved into in this realized future. What happened to the ideas of jobs for all an good wholesome American entertainment?
I think there is a reference in the back to the future movies that have people expecting the flying skateboards this year.
A lot of big dreams haven't evolved because of the financial effort to bring to IRL. Plus technology is just coming enough to Nanny-handle people flying at their will without flying cluelessly

I dread a future with all the technology that we stop learning how to do it, an rely on the technology as a crutch. where's the pride of doing stuff yourself. Learning it yourself, troubleshooting it out yourself, planning it out yourself.
just look at it as the day instead of learning how to drive an taking pride in the ability to master good drving, is our future the one of the morlocks-eloi of H.g. Wells "Time Machine"
Will our descendants devolve into the sheeple-slave of the class that is controledby the people that have the technology-money-political power

our descendants are already controlled by their cell phones. Hopefully when one of these cars does an automatic maneuver it finished up by slamming someone texting in the hands with the door.
