same idea as before, Pilgrim has no intention of making jr any more famous or richer than he already has. He would rather make no money than make jr any money.

After all the Teutuls did for him. What did the Paul's or Paulie do to have warranted such ill-tempered behavior.
Really? He did nothing for the Teutels?
Teutuls where already coming a hit at the time. It was just Chance that both took the show into the stratosphere. They were like Boyd at the time an AHR took his shop into the mainstream at the right time. But as time went the shows drama an ego's took the shows down.
I do not remember Pilgrim Productions having a problem with The Conquistador. Seems Junior was the one that caused problems with them. I suppose Pilgrim does not need the rerun money and as stated earlier they may not want Junior to collect any more money. Would be funny if Juniors income depended on Rachaels boutique.
I've seen some of the older OCC programs on Discovery; or rather I have been going through the channels and seen them there. I don't watch Discovery as a rule; they just don't have any shows that I like. And the OCC programs are few and far between as far as I can tell.
I mentioned a template in another post. I was thinking of Pilgrim when I said it because I've been watching some of Boyd's old builds and the tension and fights are in Pilgrim's template. It's really hard to watch Boyd's stuff and I rarely am able to sit through a whole program. I watch a man for whatever reason make shorter and shorter deadlines that puts more and more pressure on his supervisors and the crew. Boyd gets mad at Charley because he wanted to go and paint a car that was destined to be a winner of a coveted award. We watch Charley become more and more disillusioned over the too short time for the builds and eventually he leaves to paint the car for Chip Foose. He knows he won't be able to come back but he can't take the work conditions in that shop. And no matter who told Boyd that his builds were getting too short he wouldn't change his ways. It seems he lived in some dream world and that his guys could always pull it off. He kept losing guys right and left but it made no difference to Boyd. And the positions were not filled. Why; because it was part of a script, everyone knew the work conditions, or Boyd just didn't want to fill those positions? On one build Boyd said he was stressed out but he never pitched in and helped. I don't think the crew wanted him anywhere near the vehicle they were building.
One thing I did learn; at least I think it's the reason....one guy said that when Boyd went bankrupt back in the 70's or 80's (and he did go bankrupt I'm just not sure what decade) he hid everything in the shop that belong to him and left the things that belonged to customers. In other words the creditors would have taken the customer's property not Boyd's. Chip saw what was happening and he hid the customer's vehicles so the creditors went after Boyd's property. As I see it, Chip did the honorable thing but Boyd felt Chip should have let him shaft the customers. Again, I don't know this is true but out here in SoCal Boyd don't have a good reputation.
Anyway, a dealer that handled Boyd's wheels said Boyd died of Diabetes and google said something else. I believe stress can come with Diabetes and if that is so we could have watched a man drive himself to the end of a fatal decease.

I've occasionally set a search of the channel systems on my cable an Discovery Spanish has regular A/C showing come up in the searches that I've programmed to find Chopper on.
Guappy must be the lucky one to have A/C programming in Agua Prieta.
