Looks like they figured a way to keep Vince on the show for a while.
Flem is being shown "fraternizing with the enemy" (Vince) during his off time.
Will also raises a big stink about Vince's shop (Mesa Kinetic Research) being a competitior of his right down the street from the shop.
With the recent terrrorist bombing tragedy in the news, it makes me wonder if a show glorifiying explosives will be another strike against it in the near future.
Being a gun related show didn't help their PC image in the first place.

Sigh. Unfortunately, nowadays both your daddy and his daddy would have been up on charges brought against them by Youth and Family Services, after you had called them to let them know you had been "abused". You would then have been free to indulge this kind of bull**** until you were a grown man, killed someone doing it, and wound up in jail yourself.
I would say somewhat so, on that. But that was a different time. An I can tell you some times that I got my beat down for no apparent reason that to prove that he ruled absolute.
Many blacksmiths and knife makers have used railroad spikes as raw materials for knives for decades. The spikes have a high carbon content, are cheap, and are readily available (if you don't get caught). It's a good way for beginners and do it yourselfers to get a start. I have a bucketful of them in storage somewhere myself, just in case I ever get ambitious. They make good novelty knives, and can be practical if done right. They sell well and are an easy way to make a quick buck while working on other projects.
A lot of times here in the Mainline area of N.S. former ConRail, former P.R.R. Juniata line an I'm sure since Ricker lives near a railroad mainline for one of the former Northeast rail companies, that if you go alongside rail the recently been replaced you will find old spikes by the bucket fulls.
