Is Rick Petko no longer working for OCC??

Spotted these "Tweets" this morning, which lead me to believe that Rick may have had his hours cut at OCC, or has chosen to expand his brand at his own shop.

Somebody posted about Rick tweeting a pic of him taking the Rick bike out of OCC shortly after the show ended, so I guess I assumed from that he was leaving OCC.

What does that mean?

"Hide your tools!" and "In Pennsylvania" (proof that Sr has a spell-checker?) seem to be important clues, but as to what... who knows?

Is @RickPetko going to Pennsylvania to steal tools? Is Senior sending someone to Pennsylvania to steal tools that @RickPetko had dibs on, therefore; "he's going to be pissed?"

Since it is Senior we're talking about here, should we assume it started with; "I'm suing @RickPetko..." or; "I'm burning @RickPetko in effigy..."?

About four hours after Senior posted that he was in Pennsylvania, he posted the pict below. Now I'm probably "thinking too much into this", however, this bike was posted (on OCC's Facebook page) as being almost completed - three weeks ago. Why would he choose to post that pict immediately following a post about Rick and Pennsylvania?  In his defense, he has posted other picts that had long before been posted on Facebook, it's the timing which puzzles me.

He also couldn't afford to lose his ability to fabricate sheet metal in-house. Could it be that Rick has chosen to become a contract employee at OCC??, and if so, maybe this frees him for other pursuits in the lucrative entertainment field.

I've been walking around with my mouth in a near-perfect "O" shape ever since reading your excellent dissertation on that baffling tweeter thingy. Thanks, doc.

Why don't somebody ask Rick if he is still at OCC? He will tell you yea or nay and it probably will be the truth. However, he will say something else that will leave you guessing. He's a tricky guy and remember I like him. I'm just saying he plays the game really well.

He is making knives out of railroad spikes. People want to buy them but he does not answer them about a price.

the hide your tools is just a little friendly jab like if sr went in to rics shop he would find some tools rick borrowed from OCC, kinda like sr's home shop.

I feel that Rick will always be associated with Senior and OCC. Rick understands what Senior and OCC have done for himself and his career. Rick is a loyal man. And Senior and him have a good relationship. If one remembers back, Junior and Vinnie used to kid Rick about being Senior's adopted son. So Senior and Rick genuinely get along well.

However, one has to believe that work has slowed down for both shops since American Chopper has ended, therefore Rick may have more free time to do whatever he chooses at his own shop.

Don't know how good the so called relationship is El considering how pissed off Rick got when Sr was mucking with calling him names and such. Someone I have a good relationship with knows when I'm just mucking around and I also know if I'm pushing things too far, so I would stop. Rick was there for one reason, cash.

Someone you have a good relationship with would also feel free to tell you if they thought you were going too far, and you would respect them enough to stop.

Which is what happened between Rick and Sr.

I don't know how much of their relationship was for TV and what was real, and neither does anyone else posting here. But as far as what we were shown on TV, Sr and Rick always got on very well together. Anything else is just projecting your own feelings onto them.

yeah work has slowed down for both shops, maybe winter is a reason for that, well at least at OCC since people actually buy those bikes to ride.
