Except that it looks like a Corvair that ran into a low-hanging overpass, and looks vaguely like it's pointed in the wrong direction. (If it wasn't for the tiny blip of steering wheel visible in the cabin, it almost looks like an elongated Mustang facing the right side of the screen, doesn't it?)
I was thirteen when they issued the original HotWheels assortment, and even though I was a bit too old to have fully enjoyed the "full childhood effect" of them, I did purchase the Deora, the Camaro, and the Ford J-Car, along with the smallest of the Hotwheels track kits. Because of the different center of gravity, the Deora almost always won, and I never lost it in one of the "pink slip" races.
I also had a Dodge Deora in an Aurora H.O. car. That did not fare so well, because I couldn't install the foam racing slicks, as they wouldn't fit in the wheelwell.
We did, however, figure out how to use the massive Aurora transformer for electroplating the contacts using Mercury Dimes.
