At first I thought it was going to be crappy show about JJ, but now it's growing on me. Last week Jesse built a hot rod for Paul Sr. and there was a little fabricated drama thrown in, but this week he builds a car for Robert Rodriguez movie, "Machete Kills" and it was 99% build oriented. Minimal drama. I enjoyed it. It's not a pretty vehicle, but it's exactly what the directors wanted. I didn't realize he did work for the film industry. Seems his nasty divorce didn't affect some of his Hollywood connections.

Here's a bike he built for the movie "Planet Terror" a few years back......... http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_122548-Custom-Made.html

I liked the business side, but just cant stand the pranks, jesse getting burned by a cutoff piece of metal, busting a perfectly good windshield for a 70 chevelle, these things always become a horse and pony show. Just build like the pilot episode and cut the pranks please.

I think the show is pretty good. But the part owner guy kinda freaks me out. He seems very feminine, even though he has wife and kid.

I certainly would not have busted that windshield for the El Camino. Seems better to store it and resell as it was probably a factory part.

The trike thing was funny looking. But a cool project for the worker guy.

How do you know it was perfectly good? It might have been cracked during the removal process. That happens a lot with old bonded windshields. (talking form experience here)

Even pros won't guarantee you safe removal of original glass.

I know, I have had my share of breaking glass, but it looked more like an attention getter than I threw it on the ground and make a huge mess to clean up just so people look at me. As much hate as jesse has for jr, I would think he would focus on the build, his extra carricular activities and stop the pranks on camera because eventually thats all the chimps think they are they for to do.

Could also be that Pilgrim wants to incorporate into JJ's show the same formula that appeared to work in AC. (personally I wasnt amused by it)

They used to smash perfectly good things for no good reason. Remember the countless episodes where Jr and Sr broke furniture, office windows, doors and even demolition derby'd their own trucks?

I remember having to take a break from AC at one point because all that destruction (which I felt/feel was camera induced) was really starting to piss me off.

Jesse's armored ElCamino may not make it to the big screen after all. There's a lawsuit to kill the film.

Rodriguez will probably find some way to pay those fees owed . This sequel needs to be released. Lots of people love these cheezy violence filled action films.

Did you see the cast of wackos he hired for this one? Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson...

Cheap labor, with big names, that need to pad their resumes to get past lousy personalities. They need to prove that they can sell a film in order to get more work.

I've never been crazy about this genre of films, but to each their own.

I really didn't find anything very creative about the build, really I haven;t seen too much creative out of Jessie shop...

I don't understand why anyone would waste an hour of their lives watching Jessie pout and mumble when Spy Kids III was showing on another channel. One is patently ridiculous, unbelievable hogwash masquerading as "entertainment," and the other is a movie about smart kids who save the world.
