It would be nice if they'd send the show out on a high note, like a Christmas show, possibly showing all involved parties together. It would also be a great thing if they'd do something to help those victimized by Hurricane Sandy - something in the spirit of giving, because (as I'm certain they are aware), they surely profited from the show, it's loyal viewership, and sales of their wares to many of those affected.
...and I thought that absolutely no acknowledgement by OCC on their Twitter page was quite interesting, as attested to in the attached photo:
Per a friend who is an Industrial Engineer, he was saying about three weeks ago that "Orange County Chopper's has one hell of a CNC Vertical and Horizontal Mill farm. they have to be doing more than building motorcycles there".
I'm wondering if they've been setting themselves up as a machine shop all along, and that was Senior's plan for the "post show eventuality", with burgers and shakes as a draw for his motorcycle museum??
I will be the first to state that I've misjudged his intellect; he may not be suave, but Senior's talent for forethought is surprisingly good.
If they are properly equipped, they can do a good business selling wheels, billet aluminum engine covers and trim pieces.
Jesse James even had a wheel making business integral to West Coast Choppers.
If OCC doesn't already have it, they could probably pick up a Harley dealership license and start selling and maintaining standard motorcycles.

my bet is they will not show any appreciation to the networks that made them multi millionaires.
OCC will survive. Paul Jr Creations will be doing more crap that has nothing to do with designing or motorcycles. Eventually Rachel gets her boutique from a divorce settlement.

... or they will sell the TV series to other networks like Velocity Channel for example.
Velocity is part of the Discovery network, so I doubt that you will see it there except in re-runs. The Teutuls don't own the show, so it would be up to Pilgrim Films to shop it out to other networks (perhaps SPEED). It's likely that the Discovery contract has a ryder in it that puts a lock on the show and the 'cast' after it's cancelled, sort of like Pauley's No Compete Clause that OCC was able to hold over him. That means that Pilgrim won't be able to take it to a new network, and the 'cast' may not be able to develop a new show for a few years.
As far as what happens to OCC and PJD after the show ends -
OCC will have to down-size further. Without the show's interest in their bikes and merchandise OCC will wane. The Cafe will tank before it really gets off the ground, like all theme restaurants. And eventually Sr will either sell it all or shut it down once the creditors come knocking in ernest. I give it 2-3 years.
PJD will close it's doors sooner than OCC (probably by next summer), because the business model he's using now relies primarily on the show's advertising power for the client. Jr will pack up the studio and move it to NAPA Valley to try to make a go of it out there. Eventually, it will fail due to too much competition in California and a lack of cliental.
I believe that OCC will continue to sell burgers, and PJD will begin selling T-Shirts and "bootique" items on QVC. Junior apparently believes otherwise, as attested to by his twitter posting, see the attached photo.
Possibly both companies could survive by getting together. PJD could do design and OCC could do production. That way both could make it.
I remember on the olde boards, someone stated that OCC had better potential to survive. This was due to all the machinery they have. I think the person stated that OCC could go after military contracts, and I suppose others. These contracts are lucrative and could keep OCC's doors open.

I wonder what kind of deal they all have signed as far as residuals for the reruns? There probably still is is a good moneymaker there. International distribution and DVD sales also.

It seems that OCC could produce many items for other companies. And they also have the "Beckwood Press". Remember that thing????? So they can do milling and also stamping. OCC should be able to survive as a company, maybe not motorcycle only, but venturing into other areas.
I alway thought that OCC was missing an opportunity by not creating an aftermarket line of OCC labeled parts for Harleys. Many of the other big name shops have been able to boost sales by using this tactic. (and the profit margin is better than on T-shirts)
