It would be nice to have a show that revisits the builders from the old "Biker Build-Off" series. Some of those guys deserve a little more TV recognition.

Jr may be a spoiled a** off camera, but his father still wins the award.
At least Jr makes an effort to be polite in public. How many of us can say that they have the same self control ? If strangers kept pawing at me for autographs and stalking my home and place of work, I wouldn't be nice about it. I'd likely get arrested for breaking obscenity laws, at best.
I'd love to see the footage of Piligan and Jr going at it, just to see what it was that set Jr off. It may have been something real, or it may have been something petty. Until someone talks, we'll never know.
Either way, they got over it. When Piligan called Jr to ask about the build-off, Jr jumped right on the bandwagon, with no problem. Jesse on the other hand just wanted to know if he would get paid.

Pilgrim didn't cancel the show, Discovery did. The two are separate entities. Jr pissing off Piligan would have no effect on Discovery's decision, it's all about the ratings vs the budget.
that's what I was thinking

Peter Griffin wrote:I think Jesse is pretty funny and the show is good. One thing I guarantee about Jesse is that he isn't stupid enough to piss off his boss, Pilgrim.
To be fair, Jesse got fed up and walked away from "Monster Garage". The series was cancelled because of it.
He had to make amends with DC to get "Outlaw Garage" into production.

Quote from article...... ".....At one point when shooting the current final season, Piligian fired Junior and kicked him off the set. “It’s a very tumultuous relationship, not only between the father and son, but between us as well,” Piligian says. “Junior and I would have it out, and at one point awhile back, I said, ‘We’re done with you.’” The two reconciled and Junior returned to work shortly thereafter..... " Very interesting. I wonder what Jr could have done or said to piss him off that much.

I alway thought that a show called "American Chopper" focusing on only one (then two) builders was odd. This show should have highlighted different small shops from the very beginning. If one of the shops stood out, then they could have done a spin-off. It would have been nice to see how shops in different regions took differing approaches to building bikes.
Guess this just proves to everyone that Jr, and not Sr, was the d*ck to work with. It's like Pilgrim is the LAST person Jr should be pissing off. It's not a surprise because the ratings were tanking this year.
Jr is already on twitter campaigning (begging) for viewers to call and get him his own show.

Junior sometimes act like he's bigger then the show. I guess this is where Vinnie and Cody part ways and back to the developmental studios. Obamacare is going to screw up alot buisnesses. Dennys franchise is raising it's food because of it.

Just the way he acts this season. Making rush decisions based only on himself not his crew. The choppers he built wasn't interesting or the show. People didn't tune in to see it or even post in the forums. Maybe they'll go back to TLC and try to make a buzz lol.
Jr can beg all he wants, but he clearly pissed off the guy who might have been able to give him his own show. But as I said in another thread, an all Jr show would be dull as dishwater.
True Anita we can finally agree on something. Peter still getting used to this site lol. Senior probably laughing his ass off. After a decade Junior finally shows his true colors and is the bad guy score senior!
See, I always stated that Junior was different from the "personae" on American Chopper. But I really thought Junior would be smarter than this. You don't make the guy mad, that made the show, and basically made you. I guess Junior thought that he no longer needed American Chopper or Craig Piligian.

That's ok. Not everyone get's Jesse's style of humor.
Surprised you didn't think it was probably a cheap shot at Jr. anyway.

Why because he stood up for himself and didn't let Craig Piligian push him around? Who had to go back and crawl up who's butt? Craig Piligian did.

I know you boys are sad that the world knows Jr is a jack@ss now.
I've never stated that Jr couldn't be a jack@ass, and I certainly don't believe that he's a saint. I'm just pointing out that being a d!ck to your producer doesn't get your show cancelled. If that were true, there would be a lot less shows on TV. Charlie Sheen has already proved that your show can go on without you. As much as I dislike Craig Piligan, I can blame him for many things about the current format of the show, but I can't blame him for the decision to cancel either.
I think Pilgrim has enough pull (from producing so many reality shows on Discovery and it's sister stations) that he could have kept it afloat, but he probably got tired of dealing with Jr's crap. None of us will ever know what happened; so everyone entitled to their opinions. I know Jake and ghost can't believe their hero fought with the producer and was so stupid in doing so.
one word Peter ratings, no ratings = no show it'svthat simple

Jacques will run for the border, because he knows I will not enter cold territory.
Do you not think that Vinnie and Cody are frustrated????? With Junior's behaviors????? Junior begs them to come back, so they leave their own business, and after doing so, Junior acts all spoiled and the show gets cancelled. Can;'t you see how they would be disappointed????
right, guapo. I think we should have a tag team cage match-Sr's team (me and guapo) versus Jr's team (ghost and jake) in a loser leaves town match.

I wonder if Vinnie and Cody will be frustrated with Junior. His shenanigans has lost the cash cow.
Why it was Piligian who cancelled the show.
lol, ok we aren't going to go round and round with this. Ghost, you must be like Rain Man, you are repetitive as hell lol

I don't get why you think it was because of Jr that Discovery cancelled the show. As the article said Piligian fired Jr before and when he tried to pitch the show to Discovery they said no Jr means no show so Piligian had to suck up to Jr. Now the ratings are bad so bye bye show. Nothing to do with Jr or Piligian.

Where does it say anywhere that the show was cancelled because of Jr?

Interesting to see Junior trying to get viewer support for a new show. Junior wanted something like that earlier on, and Pilgrim would not go for it. Junior just is not that interesting of a person. He is very bland and vanilla. Junior is so careful with his "image" that he is boring.

NO, remember Sr and Piligian wanted a Sr only show but Discovery said no Jr = no show, hench we had Sr v Jr.

The thing is that many other people had problems with Junior before. Remember the company that wanted a bike and stated that PJD was unprofessional? I have always thought Junior had an attitude. Senior always stated that Junior was arrogant.

That supports Peter's theory.
(Discovery: No Jr no show) + (Piligian: No deal Jr)= No AC
