Hey, Deadliest Catch is great. They really have a hard time out there on the Bering Sea. I have always been a NorthWestern fan. Sig and Edgar are great. And Jake Anderson sure has come a long way.
Well, while my heart will always belong to the Cornelia Marie under Captain Phil, I still love the show. Especially now that Phil's disgraceful sons have had their airtime cut and Josh Harris seems to be in the process of getting his head out of his ass. I really do pray that Jake Harris will not die from his addiction, because it is really looking bad. :(
So, my favorite right now is the Northwestern. Got to give props to the Hansen clan. Jake Anderson is just a treasure.
After that, my order of preference seems to be whatever Wild Bill is skippering, the TB (though many props to Jonathan for all the help he has extended to the Harris brothers, and for seeming like just a straight up good human being behind all that tough Alaskan fisherman bluster), and Junior on the Seabrooke. I can tolerate Keith and the Wizard because it is an extremely competent fishing operation and Freddy Mugatai is on board. I am really trying hard to give Elliot a go of it as he is such a young captain, but truth is if I never saw him on the show again I would not miss him.

I am looking forward to seeing Edgar get more time as Captain of the NorthWestern. I certainly think he has earned it. At first, I thought that Sig was resistant to the change, but it seems he is okay with it. And i think Edgar would be a great Captain, as he knows everything about the deck and engine room.
