Meh... Not excited about it really. DC is doing it all wrong again this year by not requiring the bikes to be built along a specific set of parameters and not requiring them to do a ride to verify their road-worthiness.

I could do without Gas monkey..why not have other known builders like Mondo who Junior looks up to or Matt Hotch? Junior needs to take this loss to WAKE DA F UP! i'm tired of seeing this season go down hill man. I been watching it on youtube during the week no commercials. Jesse going to light a fire under his azz soon watch.
True man. So basically they needed a last resort and picked the newcomers who hardly get views right? So it can benefit them and get more eyes on the show nice Disco. Do you miss the site or slowly over it already?
This could be interesting cause the bearded guy does good work and a master mechanic..unknown build.
Would any dignified chopper shop sink down to what migfht clearly be a "Glorified" popularity contest, that is "Discoveries" or Piligrians" IDEAR of a biker-build-off.
I bet GAS Monkey to Prop it's ratings, or Jesse earns his wings for to prop veiwership in the show, that they can't seem to get ratings to take-off. JMO
As an aside, I thought it was funny when Sr said he only got 1 vote last year lol. Then he talks about how things are different this year (he thinks he's more liked).
He is, just ask El.

I don't know if he's more liked, but I'll bet he'll get more votes this year if he actually builds a bike.

It's also just a way to showcase Pilgrim's 4 shows and improve their ratings. lol, and I think it works because I was looking for Gas monkey, when are they even on? I couldn't find them.
Search for the title, "Loud and Fast", Not Gas Monkey.

Coxie:"why he (Senior) copped out of the last build off?"
What are you talking about? Senior and OCC was in the last build off. How could you have missed that??????

What did Sr mean when he said that he wants to do it again but this time build a real bike and the reason he built that other thing was because the circomstances where different back then?
So what are these different circomstances now? Sr rehahing his image?

At the time of the first build off, there was massive tension between OCC and PJD. The circumstances are quite different now. So much so, that OCC and PJD are working together toward a production bike. So now it is more like friendly competition. In the past, there was a very different feeling.
And why would that stop OCC from building a real bike? With massive tension between OCC and PJD one would think that they would want to prove who was the best bike building company but instead Sr copped out.

I think Senior knew it was a popularity contest. And since Junior has really worked on his on screen personae, Senior knew it was an uphill battle. So OCC opted to build something they wanted to, as they knew that whatever they brought would not be voted for.

So Sr rehabbing his imagine worked?

I think the editing changed. I always felt that Discovery edited the show a certain way to fit a story line. Now did Senior say some bad things. Sure did. But the editing seems to re enforce those statements to an unusual degree. Some little statement that no one would have heard, that had little significance, is then shown over and over and over, and of course immediately follows some other scene that re enforces its nefariousness.
"They have a better chance of beating me by adding more people" Junior: Old Wounds
There is some of the arrogance. It comes out every now and again (is this a saying????). I take this as a diss to Jesse. Kinda like Junior saying he would easily beat him, so they had to add someone who might be a challenge.
lets please vote when we see the bikes. I am sure a few are already voting for jr's pink bike without even seeing it. (yeah, you can see the spokes in the listen to the bikes thread)
I hope people actually give jesse credit for building not buying.
I have seen enough of the gas monkeys bike to pretty much guarantee 4th place. they are trying to buy fans by giving away a free t shirt when they get to 300,000 fans on facebook. Free shirt, pay 20.00 shipping. Fred is gonna be far from the standard.

Sounds like you have your mind made up already?
Should we give credit to the others for abiding by the rules and not missing the deadline?

Yes, they should get credit. But I don't think that it would make JR very proud to win by disqualification.
How about giving Gas Monkey some extra credit for riding their bike 1000+ miles to lose to PJD?
There are another 2 builders besides Jr and it's unfair to all 3 other building teams. What's the point of having a deadline? I wonder what else the others could of done with the extra time? How about giving credit to the ones who played by the rules?
Yep good on GM, I hope they go well.

Jr might have been able to get some pink pinwheels and streamers for the handlebars, because regardless of what anyone brings to the competition, the ballots are already being stuffed. The 6 weeks was fabrication. I am sure jr will be crying about being finished on time. a pink motorcycle is gonna win the baddest bike competition. thats jr saying, it does not matter what we bring or where we bought all the parts from, we are gonna win anyway.
Jesse is going on no sleep and a week long thrash, I think jr's arrogance might be too much for jesse today. might end up being a knife fight.
oh, and that air cleaner should just say assembled in new york.
Built not bought. None of the other teams started from scratch.

And I see you already have your excusses ready and waiting. LMAO
Look at the bike HE BUILT last year? LMAO
Was it in the rules that every part has to be made from raw metal? I missed that rule, but I do remember a rule about a deadline. I wonder how he built the motor so quickly?

All I want to know is Senior can't be that delusional to do the same Idear from Jason again..!! HOW is it possible...??? The bike has the stublety of using a Jack Hammer to hit a finishing nail to start it into a piece of would.
I agree, all the entries have upped their game. Even though Jr is going to win it all again, I think last year's P51 bike was a tad better than this one. Jesse failed to make the deadline and Gas Monkey's bike is a mostly stock Harley. But one detail I can't overlook is that Jesse and Aaron were the ONLY guys out of the four "builders" who actually put a decent amount of blood and sweat into their builds using their own hands. The others "supervised" the crew who performed the work. It surprised me that some people were whining about the deadline extension. Especially Vinny. I thought he was a more honorable competitor than that. He should have learned from the actions of the "Biker Build-off" contestants every time their competition was in jeopardy of being DQ'd. I'm sure he realizes any one of the other builders would have been given that extension if they needed it. DC invested way too much money in this thing to not have them all show up in Vegas.

The main features of a chopper that make it stand out are its longer frame design accompanied by a stretch front end, or increased rake angle. These attributes may seem radical to some but are necessary for the look that is desired.
...two entries masquerading as Kawi Ninjas and one entry slighty better than your average local chopper show (at least it's in the chopper family). Last time I checked this was CHOPPER LIVE THE Revenge. PJD's entry screams chopper and nails the theme they chose with an artistic edge light years beyond the competition. None of these yucknutz can create rolling art the way the PJD team can and it drives them and their fans insane.
I guess you know where my vote is going...PJD PJD PJD!!!

LOL.... couldn't Agree more.... But Senior's bike would be a good bike for like I-robot 2 or Terminator 6 or some futuristic video game.. I still think Jason has this fetish that it should've been him building a bike for a video game.
