I think there could be a business relationship, like jr renting part of the shop away from OCC's side, but Jr is satisfied building two pieces of art a year, while sr still wants to run like a business and produce quantity will never allow them to work together. Jr wants full control of design where sr wants customers to sign off on design so they pay to change it later. I really think it could work, since Jr was a big part of the reason they went so big.
If they didnt want to film that garage build I doubt they would have done it. They were trying to save the series.
