Juniors Design style Vs. Senior need for Control

I noticed a pattern that I believe is the one key to why Senior an Junior don't see eye to eye in business.  Junior is only passionate about a project if he has the control on how the bike looks, an that is the key to keep his passion in building the brand.  However Senior isn't worried about style, as long as it pleases the customer enough to turn a profit on the build, for him the passion is about making the quickest dollar on the brand,

If a customer wants to pay someone to put a unicorn horn on the front fender, you put a unicorn horn on the front fender. See, you really hit the nail right on the head, jr wants people to ride his bikes, sr wants to build bikes the customer asks for.

Does that mean they could never possibly see eye to eye enough to ever build bikes together again?  That truly would be a shame.

its just where they draw the line. Sr has far more knowledge over his 40 years in business to know you do what the customer wants. Anyone wants to give jr 6 figures and say give me something that looks cool has too much money.

How did the whole chopper thing start. Guys would get a bike, cut it up(chop), and weld it back together the way they want it.

The real sad thing with both crews is anyone can basically go out and get the frames they use, get the motors they use, order the decorations from wherever they choose, the only custom anything they have is maybe some rick metal work on fenders and exhaust.  That is why real chopper guys have no time for either crew.

Jesse gets no love or respect, but you send him tubing, sheetmetal, a junkyard motor wheels and tires and you get a bike.

I can really care less if they ever lego a bike together again. I am sure discovery is madly looking for a new crew to ride their coat tails into a new show to show both jr and sr what they threw away.
