I was shocked an amazed at the vintage programming that was on today. BBO'S episodes an Sr. V. JR. Also Street outlaws made a appearance back since the passing away of the character flipp.
Does Discovery have a problem with the show? Other shows that have been cancelled still show up from time to time. I would like to see the first season to be shown again.

I don't know El. But when your spouse is the EP/VP of TLC/Discovery network, an he lets you program what you want. Guess the Great Christo doesn't like A/C anymore. A/C doesn't SHINE with enough Gold.
I dont think Discovery has a problem with the show, I think they dont want to piss off Pilgrim to the point he does not sell them the next big thing. Pilgrim did not go to Jr, he went to Sr. Pilgrim didnt like Jr. He blamed him for delays for the first build off and felt he was held for ransom for the second.
Like I have said, I think after the decade of shows, the Teutels got too big for their britches and wanted syndication dollars or be paid for replaying the series. Something has to be in the contract they had because Discovery runs the hell out of fast and loud, who are two schmucks that just like to see their faces on tv and consider it free advertising for customers to find them. If there is some contract for repeating the series, I kinda think discovery will throw it on when nobody will be watching.

Guess I was not thinking about royalties. I do believe there would be an audience for the early seasons. And I certainly would rather see American Chopper rather than Fast n Loud.

Anything would be better than current programming. Sad when Weather Channel is has more interesting reality-fiction-docu-soap shows.
I used to wonder why these networks seemed to work against themselves; i.e., air shows that nobody cared about or like now they have a habit of showing all 20 episodes of a show in one day and then perhaps show the current one as the end show. And in some cases start all over again.
The reason? They are bundled with other networks and they all get paid regardless what they air and even if they have very few viewers. I think they do have to have some shows in the bundle to carry the rest but I'm not sure. What pays the way is your subscription to whatever carrier every month!
By the way I was given that info regarding the carriers bundling shows that you pay for monthly with your subscription. It wasn't something I came up with.
They had Fast and Loud on Discovery and that was "A-OK" with me because I don't watch Discovery. Now Fast and Loud has been moved to Velocity which I do watch and it's taking up space where some really good shows could be aired. My favorite at this point is Wheeler Dealers. They are from England but I read somewhere that they were going to film a season in America. I think that would be neat. They try to make you think that Edd (which is the real reason to watch the show since he does the work and explains most of what he does) gets mad at what Mike brings him to fix. There is no heat in their supposed arguments. Even the way Edd told Mike, "you are such a liar," was said with no heat. It was said more as a statement. It's a really fun show to watch. Then they have Kindig-It. They have some amazing builds and they are funny. Dave was taking his friend and the guy who runs his builds on a test run and the guy told him, "Dude, you're driving on the sidewalk!" And then there is Fantomworks and; what is it, the Guild in Canada. Love those shows too! There are a couple more shows I like but they haven't made such an impression that I remember the name of the show. Oh I like Chasing Classic Cars but it doesn't have a lot of restoration; but Wayne's mechanic is a hoot!
These shows make Fast and Loud look like the trashy show that it is!
Does anybody know why they have 6 week seasons now? Since I don't watch regular TV I don't know what they do; but it appears that most cable seasons last for 6 weeks.
Frankly I wish someone would put out some more OCC shows. As I remember, after 5 years they can run reruns. But they played those shows over and over so many times I'd like to see what they can do now. I know I'd watch it for old times sake. And if Pilgrim/Discovery wasn't involved perhaps they wouldn't concentrate on family battles and more on building motorcycles. Anybody craving soap operas can go to the soap opera cable channel!
