I was chatting with someone that reminded me that it's been nearly a Decade since I started with the Dialysis unit in 2003. That gave me a thought about that it's been also a Decade of AC.
I am curious that would the powers that be that control the rights to the show would plan a special to follow up the Teutuls or American Chopper. Possibly build a bike that would follow up on technology or to show how the designs evolved.
I doubt it. Discovery seems to be done with the Teutuls. Sr has moved on to another network and may not be able to participate in a Discovery Special, and Jr seems to be laying low. Although that may only be the perception.
Discovery would probably love to do that, but I think that final contract that hardly even had the showed reaired is gonna limit the later footage. And really, didnt Discovery do enough to promote them and crown them the kings of choppers over the past 10 years? promoting them more will just promote GAC.
