Funny thing that Orange County Choppers and Paul Teutul Sr. haven't found yet the right cast-mate for their new TV series we told you about earlier. The initial casting call ended in May.
We won't venture into gossips and all the other dark stories on Mr. Teutul's personality and the way he runs his business, and will only say that the position is still open. So hear ye, hear ye, chopper-heads: OCC is still looking for the right guy to start making history once more, and they're also offering money for this.
It's not only a hobby, but a full-time job too, and the filming should begin in New York later this year. Once more, here's Shaun Hoff, Pilgrim Studio manager of talent development and casting, on the offer:
"The team needs some fresh blood, someone who will work alongside Paul Sr., running the shop. This is a full-time job working with OCC on- and off-camera. It doesn't matter what your specialties are in the motorcycle world, as long as you KNOW the world of choppers, are outgoing, fun and think you can withstand [Paul Sr.'s] onslaught when he's angry, then we want to hear from you."
Note: Pilgrim is supposedly using the same production team as was used on their series "Millionaire Matchmaker", and NOT the team used to produce American Chopper.
I didnt get this when they started looking, so I am not surprised they did not find someone yet. They were asking for someone to be a punching bag for the old sr, he isnt that guy anymore. Seemed all along it would be someone for the crew to play jackass style pranks on anyway. Maybe the haters would love to see someone getting paid to be abused so they could say he was a prick all along, but maybe they found they dont need a story line after they started filming because there is enough with the bikes.

Maybe Senior has burnt all his bridges that he can't even get Lee Stamper or Jeff Clegg to join the team again. I don't even think they have Storm around to play pranks on anymore, or Robb the painter. Is Sketer still there. Maybe even Rick isn't interested or has decided to devote all his time to family an shop... Still don't make much sense if it is still a piligrim production that DSC didn't keep it as one of their programs. But I think with it being on CMT they won't be forced into doing all the realitdrama that started to get old on the series.
