I know, I know. Duck Dynasty!?!? I really didn't think I'd like it - didn't want to like it ('I watch too much TV already' is what I told myself) and resisted for a very long time. Until one evening I watched an episode with the boyfriend at his house. Here's a family that's FUNNY and they work together and they're not yelling and badmouthing each other. It was rather refreshing.
So I put together some fan pages just for fun. Now I have some catching up to do while we wait for Season 4 to start. Who's your favorite character?
I loving terribly alot also.. A&E and her sister network are Smoking DSC backside now that a lot of they closed up shop on some of the long running shows an gotten into more of a docu-drama programming. I'm sorry to say but all there sister station are blindingly all alike. The've pushed all the auto-related programming to the Velocity channel an most don't have that as part of their cable package.
They need to rattle the tree from the top an shake some new life into their network of channels. TLC has gone from being about good programming to a copy-cat of the WE or lifetime network. They need to get back to some decent automotive related programs as F'N Loud doesn't compete against Counting Cars, an Duck Dynasty... Well they really need to find something to compete, unfortunately those boys are blowing the doors off them..
I've been "bumming" about the stupendous decrease in the quality of the "Call of the Wildman" episode(s), which premiered this season's first offering on Sunday, 03 June 2013. Ernie Brown may be great at capturing wild animals with his bear hands, but he "ain't" no actor; nor is his sidekick, Neal. I'd far prefer hearing "hey, we're gonna try and catch what we think is a coyote bothering the lady who runs this here rabbit farm", instead of the mind numbing "stu-spense" which graced our TV screens a couple of days ago.
With that said, the quality of the "Duck Dynasty" episodes is far superior to most of that which inhabits the reality genre these days.
