My biggest customer uses one of those 3D printers for prototypes before they job them out in aluminum. They are an awesome tool before investing tens of thousands of dollars in a machine shop.

I don't think it's access to cutting edge technology that's lacking at OCC, it's creativity. Their theme designs seem to either have no discernible tie in or be mere cartoonish character cutouts. The Dragon Bike is a perfect example. Unique steering layout overshadowed by gaudy merry go round like cutout dragon body. When compared to the stylish way PJD infused the Gecko touches on the Geico bike it's laughable. PJD and Jr designed OCC theme bikes seem to always have the right blend of subject cues and chopper stance. OCC/Sr/Foole bikes seem to always leave you scratching your head wondering what were they thinking. You can make the argument "it's because the customer wanted it that way" but it still should reflect some measure of artistic creativity. Compare the two and judge for yourself. Finished Dragon bike pic is CGI as it is not fully built yet.
