s I've been perviewsing the ole interweb thangie here. I came across Mark Evans series of Is Born series Now admitted, I've seen this series on Disc Home & Liesure back in the early to middle years of this century. So I have viewed some of them, but I found a link of a whole resource of the series.
This is one were he restores a 1943 harley Wl series bike... I only wish discovry had probgrams such as this with humor and informative, an instructional, instead of the current crop of dramatic entertaianment programs.
I've been savoring these video's like a box of expensive chocolates. Doling them out one by one slowly so I don't run out. It will be a sad day when I'm staring at an empty box and sniffing for a whiff of what used to be inside. I'm trying not to lick the screen.

Oh, but there are so sweet many a gem that he made... Chopper is born, car is born, racing car is born, 4x4 is born. Just go searching for Mark evan "is born" series. An when you finish that box off, look for a series called "Classic car rescue", then also I found another series called "strippers for cash" which isn't what you'd like it to mean, but they strip the profitable parts of of old cars an have a contest between two teams to make the most $$$ of the car.
I've been feasting on these sweet little gems now that our favorite channel we love to hate has been like pumping a dry hole(as in Backyard Oil) Seeing Mythbusters back on was a refreshing note.
I agree, to a fair degree, Mope. However, I think many of us are "Mythbuster-ed out". It's come to the point that their scratching bare turf for ideas.
I know, but for what it has left good about it... Least Mythbusters is the only program that hasn't whored itself out to be a AFP(advertising funded Programming) Something that is completely hard to do nowadays.
