"He gave me some interesting inside info on the show and the various personalities involved."
He could have given us a little more detail. Instead he just left us hanging. I wonder if footage of un-aired builds will ever be used as specials or programing filler.
That's what I was wondering too. "Inside info" got me wondering if it was something they would rather not want made public. He writes... the owner has "a power line storm-damage repair company...."? They probably came across a major financial windfall with the recent hurricane damage in the NE. I wouldn't be surprised if that's why this guy just retired. He just won the "lottery" and it's being paid for with insurance dollars and government aid.
That's quite unorthodox resting place for a $100+k motorcycle which will probably never see the light of day again, hiding under a blanket behind a sofa.

"Precious, precious, precious! ... My Precious! Oh my Precious!"
Come on, the guy obviously cherishes his PJD creation so much that he wants "Blue Thunder" in his man cave alongside his trophies Mama Bear, Baby Bear, and Bambi - not hidden away in some dark garage. Judging from the wear on the rear tire it will probably see plenty of daylight again when the snow melts in Michigan. Another great paint scheme from Nub, lightning traces blended in seamlessly with tribal striping and just the right amount of theme tie-ins with power pole and Great Lakes artwork on the primary. Nice touch on the custom wheels with the "tornado" spokes. Now thats what I call "Riding the Storm Out"!!! 110% Innovative! Really knocked it outta the park this time!
