After careful research, I can confirm that Olivia Black is definitely female, in case anyone wondered. (Though I've always thought that anyone who has neck tattoos shouldn't be trusted with any decisions more important than which cereal to have for breakfast.)
Besides, the most obscene thing about Pawn Stars are Corey's negotiations.
From FOX411: In an exclusive interview Olivia Black, 27, told FOX 411 show personality Rick Harrison reached out to her after her firing from series to let her know she is still welcome to work at the shop. “He let me know I was actually only let go from the show and not the shop,” she said. She plans to head back to the Las Vegas pawn store to work, meet with fans and sign autographs when the series is not filming.
I hope she returns and is succsessful with her petition for reinstatement on the show. She was the only face in the shop with any dazzle even given the limited nature of her appearances. Must be History Channel has a problem with the situation, after all how bad can a little online porn be in a city like Las Vegas that prides itself on sin and debauchery?

she would do better filing the lawsuit. Rick knows it was wrong and he is on the hook for a judgement, so he sticks his devil tail between his legs and asks her back.

Obviously Ms. Black oozes hottness and that effects most interactions she has with males who have a pulse. The show and the shop are two seperate entities. Rick's reason for hiring her and the Production Company's reason for letting her go are independent of each other. Much entertainment industry work includes a Moral Turpitude Clause that is intentionally vague to include almost any scenario that may reflect unfavorably on the production. Leftfield Pictures probably chose to invoke that clause.
Whatever link you are trying to make between the Harrison's lawsuit with their former talent agency and Ms. Black exists only in your head - not one word in print about Oliva planning a lawsuit (which would be a complaint against Leftfield Pictures not Gold & Silver Pawn) - nada.

The production company Leftfield Pictures called her and let her go from the show "Pawn Stars". Rick didn't call her and fire her from the Gold & Silver pawn shop so why is he "on the hook for a judgement" He reached out to her to let her know she still had her job at the shop so how does that equate to "he sticks his devil tail between his legs"?
Olivia Black quote: “I do not know why I was fired from the show,” Olivia told RadarOnline.com. “I got a call and the production company told me that my services were no longer needed on the show.”
Olivia Black quote: “He [Rick Harrison] let me know I was actually only let go from the show and not the shop. One of the reasons I was upset the most, was because I was bummed that I wasn’t going to be a part of the family at the shop anymore. But at least I will be there in the beginning of the year.”

You have a timeline for that. She was fired 12-20, started an agenda on facebook, the news of the current lawsuit when Rick didnt want to pay the people that lined him up with the job came out so I am sure he is aware of her rights. Do you really think he hired her out of all those candidates because she was the best option for the shop or more ratings for the show? I dont need you to search and destroy, just straight answer, shop or show. I dont think he did it to get chumley laid and doubt a night time shift when the doors are locked have people lined up to see her hotness thru windows. Rick would have told her she still had a job if he wanted her there, instead he waited to see if he could get away with it, realized they were wrong so makes himself sound like a nice guy by saying it was not his choice.
He has millions of reasons to do exactly what the network wants.
You guys just love popularity contests.

Can you imagine the display of whining which Chumlee generated after learning that his only reason for showing up was fired from the show?? Okay, typical male attitude here, but I wonder if they used Olivia's porno background as an excuse to distance themselves (the production company) from the probability of a sexual harassment suit in the future.
Anyone who has watched that show (blindly) assumes that she didn't get the job because of her superior commodities negotiating skills; she was the show's "eye candy", and added that slight bit of charm which the show seemed to lack. Corey's cousin apparently didn't have the camera presence necessary, and Olivia fit the presumed need for "tough femininity", and was added to the mix.
I wonder if we see litigation somewhere down the line????
Let's look at this realistically; the production company, and History, both boast pockets which are far more cavernous than those of the Harrison clan, and most certainly, Chumlee. You've got two late 20's/early 30's males who, let's say, aren't exactly Playgirl centerfold material (and neither am I, anymore). What they do possess is fame, recognizability, and somewhat comfortable incomes/earnings potential. Combine all components of the recipe, together with an actual, or perceived attempt at dating, or making sexual advances towards her, and you get an instant multi-million dollar lawsuit, which will - at the very least, settle out of court for a nice chunk of change.
The powers that be were just trying to avoid this eventuality.
Then again, she could be using the entire affair as publicity for her modeling career...

It might be something to think about if she was eye candy for the shop. Put a hot girl in the shop basically alone overnight and have guys come in to pawn stuff just to see her. She shakes her ass and gives them half of what something is worth. Thats the business side. If it was pure eye candy for the shop I figure she would be working a busier shift than overnights though.
But its next to impossible to believe that she was not hired to keep ratings on the show up so Rick can keep feeding off the cash cow, like you said, we saw alot more qualified people applying for the job.
As far as your publicity comment, there were reports she went back to the soft porn suicide girls and already did a photo shoot, so the put her past behind her is pretty much out the window. An an employer, its really clear about justified firing of employees. There are people I know that run a child care business in their home. To have more than 6 kids you need an assistant. She went back down to 6 kids and did not need the help anymore, let the woman go and was sued for unemployment and won. Thats as simple as this gets at a temporary job. For a high profile firing over soft core pictures there would be no doubt there would be litigation. But like I said before, it is the question of was she asked when hired and did she lie? You gotta believe one of the first things Hoss and chumley did was search the internet for her, its almost impossible to believe they did not know. So litigation might have been stopped since Rick will talk her out of it to keep her job. If she sues the production company, bye bye pawn stars.

Maybe she likes the big teddie-bear type.. I've always been amazed that some of the combinations of relationships that stroll around in puublic places..
This post is totally lewd, crude, and socially unacceptable. My apologies, in advance!
About two months ago, one of the tabloids floated around the Med Surg floor at the VA, and I remember seeing a photo of Chumlee with a Vegas showgirl on each arm. While he "ain't no Tom Cruise", he does have an endearing personality, and that may be the secret of his success.
On the other hand, my exposure to nurses, (and trust me, most nurses outrank sailors when it comes to the ability to engage in "moral terpitude"), tells me this, a guy has to have at least two of these four things going for him, and in this order of importance:
Looks, appearance
Wealth, and generosity
Personality and kindness
Sexual prowess, which includes a natural "endowment" and the ability to make use of that gift
While many women would say that personality and kindness are paramount in importance, nurses seem to require a more "intense" relationship than most other women. Probably as a result of their work being so involved, hectic, and demanding. They probably require that additional stimulus to counteract the effects of such a demanding workload.
All this said, I just can't see that she "requires an infusion of "vitamin Chum"....
Finally figured out who she reminds me of. Put Olivia in a white polo and smock and you have Flo's little sister.

My best friends son is a chef in Vegas and he can get several great looking girls on his arm at a moments notice. Not because he is handsom or wealthy, but because he is an insider and can get into the best clubs with all the comps (VIP service) at no cost, it is just expected that you tip really good. And yet he has no girlfriend and says he may have to go outside Vegas to find a girl that isn't crazy or self involved.
Concerning the other part of your comment, since my wife is an RN I'm feeling quite full of myself right now :) Thanks!
I'm going to give you guys some free insight. Charm counts. Charm counts a LOT. I promise you, if it's between the pinup and the charming guy, the charming guy is always going to win. Hands down. Chumlee has a certain endearing charm. Phil Harris had charm. Tom Sellect, though is still quite fine, is carried by charm at his age. Scotty Hillstrand is better looking than Josh Harris by a country mile, but Josh Harris has charm that actually makes him more of a "catch" to women than Scotty's looks alone can make him.
