Sounds like Piligian is reviving the original concept for American Chopper. This is similar to what he wanted the guy in NH, and then the Teutuls to do, before Jr came up with the theme bike idea. I hope this doesn't turn out like the texas car wars show.
Wasn't Dave Perewitz the guy who Pilgrim originally planned to base the AC show on?
He's still around and going strong. Maybe Pilgrim still has him near the top of the list for this next show.

This is where Junior's tantrums with Piligian hurts him. If Junior and Piligian got along well, then maybe Piligian advocates for Junior. But since they do not get along, then Piligian will probably look elsewhere.
No, Dave Perewitz was on Biker-Buildoff. He's an established big name builder, like Arlen Ness or Mongo. His shop is south of Boston. The guy that Piligian originally contacted was somewhere in NH. I've never heard what his name was.

So Sr will get it then?

Your just not a bike shop till you start selling Xmas supplies and party decorations.
Pilgrim is looking for a bike restoration shop, not a custom chopper builder.
Not necessarily... Pilgrims ad is open to custom shops as well.
From Pilgrimstudios.com:
The producers of “American Chopper,” “Fast ‘n Loud” and “Dirty Jobs” are looking for a team of outgoing guys and girls who can “flip” bikes. Maybe you hunt for old bikes in your area, spruce them up and sell them for a big profit. Maybe you’re a custom bike builder who doesn’t usually restore bikes, but you’ve got the facility and know-how to do it.
As long as you have what it takes, and your team has memorable, outgoing personalities, your company could be featured on its own TV show.
Looks like a direct shot across the bow of "Fast and Loud" by Pilgrim.

At this point, Senior does not need it. He is independently wealthy. Senior needs to see the show out. Then he needs to transfer OCC to Rick and then possibly be a consultant. Show up at events, shake hands. Then go home, kick back and reminiscence.
Yea, that is why he has stayed, I know. But now that everything is over, why not transition OCC to Rick??? Seems Junior and Mikey don't want it. So make Rick the boss and leave Steve and everybody else in place. Senior then becomes like a figurehead. Senior could come to events and big meetings maybe.
Yeah but Sr is the ideer man lol. I actually think Sr will try to do what he can to keep things going, partly to try and do the right thing for his employees and the other part is his ego.

I think Sr will kick and scratch for a while to keep things going, so it doesn't look like he failed. And then he'll take a page out of his idol, Jesse James' book, and lock the doors on his employees, strip the company, and hide from his creditors. 2-3 years.

... and then triumphantly return as a hot rod builder with a new show on Discovery?

Interesting how their is emphasis on, " memorable, outgoing personalities". Pilgrim knows what sells a show. A shop could make some cool builds, but if their personalities are bland and forgettable, well no show.

From what we've seen over the last decade, Pilgrim is probably looking for whiny steroid-addled egomaniacs who treat their family like door-mats, take credit for everybody else's work and rip off their own employees every chance they get, for a version of "Jersey Shore" with motorcycles and/or cars.
