Looks like Aaron is riding their competition bike. They have been on the road a couple days, dont know how live the show is gonna be in two weeks, I dont think Richard can carry enough money to lose in Vegas for that long.
At least they are following the history of what a build off used to be, so I give them some credit, even though I expect it to be a quickly turned motorcycle.
Looks like the bike was built along an old school dragbike theme. Gotta give them props for that road trip, but unfortunately again this year they didn't include any rules requiring roadworthy machines so their accomplishment will be ignored in final judging.

MOst likely they are the winner to prop up what Most likely Dsc is working to make its flagship prime time Mon program. I don't see Jessies show getting the kind of ratings that Gas monkey does...
I'm pretty sure they did add road-worthiness to the requirements this year. I'm not sure if I read that or they talked about it when they were discussing the competition on the show.
The only riding requirement that I remember being said by Piligian, was that it had to be able to drive up a 25º ramp to make it up to the stage. He may have also mentioned the term "rider", without giving any further parameters. I don't recall.
Anyone been filling their Facebook lately? They recently claimed that Jesse missed the deadline and is asking for a 2week extension. Doesn't that mean he's disqualified from the contest? On another note, the Gas Monkey guys are hiding T-shirts along the way to Vegas and leaving photo clues of where to find them, scavenger hunt style. Cool promotional idea for their show.

I think he should be disqualified because the time frame was part of the challenge. Unfortunately, I watch Chopped and sometimes a chef will leave out a mandatory ingredient or exceeded the allotted time and still went forward in the competition.
Who's facebook said Jessie wanted an extension? Did it say why?
They can't exactly reschedule the live TV show, since that's the end of AC. As long as Jessie gets to Vegas on time I don't think it's that big of a deal, although probably not fair to the others who stayed on schedule.
Jake, doesn't a "rider" mean it is roadworthy? I can't think of anything else it could mean, and since that's a term that's been used that way on AC for a while I don't know why they'd change the definition.
Gas monkey keeps saying that Jesse isnt finished. I know jr tweeted he finished his bike after the deadline, dont know if he meant finished fab or completely finished, so who knows what is real, so jr should be disqualified too then. Bikes were supposed to be done on the 6th, but I guess ghost monkey would just rather have jr's biggest competition kicked out of the competition.
They had an awesome chopper frame in jesse's garage on last mondays show, looked all brush polished, big rake like last years bike, hope he can see over the front end this time around, but we really dont know how many weeks or months ago these shows actually were taped.

I would agree, but the term is too ambiguous to leave it as is for a competition. In theory, Sr's '****roach' from last year could be considered roadworthy, because (at a crawl) it could go down the road. Most people would say no, that isn't enough. But without defined parameters, there will always be room to argue.

Jesse posted this photo on twitter 13 hours ago with the caption...
"Enough pouting...I need to dial this ****er in.."

Very cool that the Gas Monkey guys are actually riding their bike to the competition. But I too do not feel that it will be reflected in votes. Unfortunately, most will go with which bike is "prettiest".

Sorry I don't follow anyone on tweeter, twit. So when did Jr finish then, what date? And if he is late like JJ then he should get the boot as well.

You may be right Anita. But if you open the voting up to like FaceBook, then it certainly becomes a popularity contest, instead of a true build the best bike contest.

But Sr is just sooo popular he has to win, doesn't he?

I think OCC is overall a more recognizable brand, but I don't think Senior is more popular than Junior. I think lots of young people identify with Junior because he is sticking it to his parent. Which many young people think is cool. And more young people use FaceBook. More 15 year olds will be on FaceBook not 65 year olds.
And how many 15 year olds watch choppers? If they did the show wouldn't be getting the boot. Facebooks biggest demographics is 45-54 year range which is closer to Sr and those people are parents.

I follow Jr on twitter (@WhereIsPaulJr). He tweeted on Nov 9th that his bike was completed. I'd give him the benefit of doubt that this tweet could have been 3 days delayed.
