Has his crew build a hot rod. Sounds like Senior really loves Jesse James work and definately a BIG fan and inspiration to his work. Junior would be very proud to know his father admires Jesse's work more then his own son. Now that's father of the year right here.
What is wrong with Senior liking the hot rods that Jesse builds. Last time I checked, Junior does not work on hot rods. And no, I am not including the "PJD Camaro". That was not a build, Junior just put pop rivets everywhere.
Junior could not make a hot rod like the one made on OutLaw Garage. Well maybe technically the PJD shop could. After all, Vinnie is a car guy. But it just is not a project that PJD would do. Junior does not seem to like to build old things. He seems to like "new" school things, with huge front wheels.
Welcome Izzy. I just got done seeing the episode i'm blown away how nice the hot rod came out. Jesse team can be immature at times but, very passionate and worked all night until the car was finished. End result is very classic new york style hot rod that will make Junior's camaro look just average. :)
Yes notice when he does less talking you get to see his real talent? I don't think that's an every day car Senior will drive. He will showcase it in his garage and pass on to his grandkids some day. I really really liked that hot rod coming from new york my kinda style hot rod. Junior's crew wouldn't build a better hotrod then that i can assure you this.

Please El, the project looks like someone took a Revell model kit molded in white an chromed parts and tossed some cake decoration from some other model kits an glued them on... Only Bright Spot is the choice of engine. Early Mopar HEMI, nothing bets the power of a MOPAR, lets alone a big elephant motor like that.

Omg... It would look almost Barris-like. That retro-period of rods like that from the early to late sixties. Heavy metal flake like alost like the Dixie choppers or the My Pillow Bike. I do like that seats and the maybe a bright blue tones or yellowgoldish on headliner and carpet

Not bad..just not everyone's taste. Senior isn't a big fan of that color blue. It's what the man wanted. I think the Big ass fans had a better paint job then the hot rod lol.
I have a 40 willies gasser model that I built with a early Hemi and injection stacks. It has a three-toned fade in Dark blue metal flake to blue-silver metalflake.. I have a rod style one that has candy apple on the top and med-green flake for the boton around body lines.

After PJC sent the camaro to have all the mechanicals done, they riveted on sheet metal. Jr still has that car because nobody wanted it.
Jesse is the son sr never had and sr is the father jesse never had. They both respect the build and process. Remember Sr said he went with the springer front end for his sturgis bike after he saw it when he and jesse were watching an old chopper flick.

The point of the new york cruiser was sunday driver, this is all california drag car. Jesse knows and respects the 50's era he built that car to represent.

That makes sense. I don't know anything about the subtle differences between East and West coast styles.
But the Hemi that I posted was heading to a client in Sweden. It was a streetable, relatively mild combination, so I assumed it was going into a street machine of some type.
